WALT DISNEY STUDIOS
Goofy in Golf Attire Art Corner Animation Cel 1961.

Hand-painted production animation cel setup from the Walt Disney Presents episode, "Holiday For Henpecked Husbands," first aired November 26, 1961. 304x255 mm; 12x10 inches. Gold foil Art Corner COA sticker on verso.

This cel was originally sold at the Art Corner in Disneyland, and like many of their setups of the time, is presented over a print background from 101 Dalmations.

  • Notes: The matching shot appears early in the episode when Goofy makes one of many attempts to play golf, but is thwarted by the insistence of his wife (voiced by June Foray) that he do household chores. The segment is introduced by a live action Walt Disney who reads from the script: "The story opens with an average man in an average neighborhood, who after a hard week's work, is looking forward to a round of golf..."
