Pair of issues of Kake and related publisher's copy print.
Issues Number 1 and Number 19 ("Curious Captain"), and with a publisher's copy print of the illustration on page 16 of Number 1. Volumes measure roughly 192x150 mm; 7 1/2x6 inches (#19 is slightly larger at nearly 7 3/4x6 1/4 inches). Later editions. Copy print is 254x123 mm; 10x8 inches and stamped "K-115" on verso.
In the late 1960s, Tom developed the hypermasculine character Kake and created 26 issues of the erotic comic book series featuring his amorous adventures. Published by DFT in 1968, they were immediately traded and reproduced underground. Verso of #1 shows printer as Pea Cock Press / Tom Art Inc. Anew York.
