Pen and brown ink on cream laid paper, double-sided. 251x147 mm; 9 3/4x5 3/4 inches.

Provenance: Private collection, New York.

A similar double-sided pen and ink drawing by Roselli, The Apotheosis of St. Mark, is in the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. (accession number 1973.50.1). Other similar drawings are in the Musée du Louvre, Paris, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. These drawings are all likely studies for commissioned altar paintings.
