Group of 15 photographs depicting bridges and waterways, many near the Suwannee River, Florida, the Flint River, Georgia, or the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
The imagery largely relates to the updating or construction of railroad bridges and other infrastructure in the South and Pennsylvania, many with small figures posing on or near the structures, and documenting the surrounding landscape. Cyanotypes, the images measuring from 4½x7½ inches (11.43x17.78 cm.) to 7¼x9¼ inches (18.42x23.5 cm.), two mounted 6½x9¼ inches (16.51x23.5 cm.) and 7¼x9⅜ inches (18.4x23.8 cm.), six with the title and two of these also with a date in ink on recto. Circa 1880-90
